A brilliant result with the 55-300. How do you use it with a tube Roger, when there's no aperture ring?

Well, David, I just put the tube & lens on & used it!

I see what you're saying but with the 55-300 + Jessops 21mm tube, in "P" mode, I get aperture on the front wheel & shutter speed on the rear!

The tubes' box is marked "Auto Extension Tubes, For Pentax - KA".

I suppose the short answer to your question is I don't know; it shouldn't work, but it does!

Any further thoughts would be welcome!

Roger.

Super capture. Never thought of the 55-300 as a macro lens

....the advantage being that you can maintain your distance & not frighten the little fellas off!

Pleased you liked it!
