From Boy Towards Man
Photo Information
This image is meant to symbolise my Son Ben's journey towards adulthood. He is on the left, looking through the archway at the entrance to Royal Holloway University, almost as if he's contemplating stepping out of his dark and drab teenage school world, into a new land of hope and experience where he will change from Boy to Man.
If that's a bit deep for you it's just a photo looking through the entrance at Royal Holloway University.

October is an exciting, an anxious, and a thoughtful time for so many people of his age. Good luck to him and his contemporaries. I can still remember going up the steps into my new undergrad world, just 65 years ago!
A few of my photographs in flickr.
Lizars 1910 "Challenge" quarter-plate camera; and some more recent stuff.

"These places mean something and it's the job of a photographer to figure-out what the hell it is."

"The camera doesn't make a bit of difference. All of them can record what you are seeing. But, you have to SEE."
