Deer at Holkham

This is 2 shots after my previous post, again all I have done is a slight crop, cloned out a couple of bodies and tweaked the colours, shadows, mid tones,and saturation. I can't see any blurring on this so i'm still in the dark on what happened in the previous posting

If you look closely, Malcolm, the background IS blurred and so is the very near foreground. What is different from the previous shot is the dramatic change from blur to focus at the subject.

Looking at the Exif data for both the main difference is the zoom factor - this one says 260mm vs 160 on the other. Whether that makes 'a haporth of difference' perhaps someone more technically skilled than me can answer ?

Meanwhile, it is still a good shot !
