Great shot Andrew. The steam shows up so well against the sky.

Excellent image, it shows what an excellent camera the MX-1 is.

This would make a very good jigsaw puzzle.

Nice one Andrew. I see it was taken just a few days ago yet the scene appears quite summery with a lovely blue sky and vivid greens.
Thanks to your helpful directions I was there last July and got a photo of a GWR Large Prairie at Blue Anchor. Note to self: Must post a picture from the West Somerset Railway soon.

Thanks folks. I keep thinking that the MX-1 must let me down some time, but it's so versatile and reliable. The results make me forgive all its many shortcomings.
David, do come back again next year for more steam shots. Go to the L&B on the right day and I may be able to arrange a footplate ride for you...
Best wishes,

Andrew

Great shot. Beautifully composed and the colours capture the atmosphere of the 1950s.
Best wishes

Yet another beauty Andrew! I'll bet the sepia version looks timeless!
