My better half pointed this little fella out to me while walking around the walled garden at Holkham Hall on the Norfolk coast. Most of the grasshoppers I have seen have been quite a bit darker than this one.
If anyone is interested you can visit Holkham Hall for £2.50 if all you want to do is wander around the extensive grounds. It costs more if you want to enter the museum, house and walled garden. Fallow Dear roam free (I ventured to within 15meters), plenty of butterflies, moths, dragonflies, damselflies while we were there. Then there is the scenery, the lake, the house plus sculptures
