It's so good it brings tears to my eyes. I'm just an old romantic but as well wildlife and natural beauty I am weather nut and particularly love snow. And people wonder why!

Thank you sincerely Dave, I really do value comments from you as your images are outstanding. This particular series of photos seemed to spark something in me and I immediately knew how to shoot and process them. For some reason the combination of camera, lens and filters I used for these shots seems to 'gel' and has produced something that exceeded my expectations.

Best wishes

Hi Timbo, I was meaning me!! When I took this one, I had wandered off to a different location than Shaun was in and found myself totally on my own with just my thoughts and my camera equipment. If i could have stayed all day to capture the light as it changed, I would have. unfortunately we had a 7 hour drive home to do!

Best wishes

Great pic... there's a lot in this, particularly complementary shapes and textures, but very simple too... really beautiful...

Thanks Maria, you are so kind. The water is actually ice as the lake was completely frozen, but as the temperature had gone up, a layer of water had formed across the top of the ice and this is what gives this and the other shots a really different look.
