Little White House

Photo Information
In the shadow of Ben Nevis sits this little white house, dwarfed by the mountains that surround it on every side. The weather today was foul, but this just makes the K-5 sing! I've done this one with the Pentax-M 28mm F3.5, a real gem of a landscape lens. If you can find a good one buy it!!

You have really managed to capture walking up that path with your composition. The way the hut suddenly jumps out unexpectedly.

It's a grand walk up Glen Nevis when the weather is wet!
Did you try the bridge?

Fine picture, like the big DoF. Comment on the M 3.5 28mm noted, but I recall it's the photographer that takes the photo!

That's just wonderful. Not great light but you've captured the details and lines of the landscape beautifully. I sometimes wonder whether 28mm is the perfect focal length for general use.
Best wishes,

Andrew

The house seems to have dodged the rock falls so far! It's a wonderful shot.
