Bells Hill and Hope Head lie beyond - with Longlaw End and Bolts Law being the 500 metre high ridges in the far distance.

Many thanks Giulio l am ever drawn to theatrical transient dappled light on the hills. This seemed a most pleasant stage for such ephemeral lighting. Rather a high wind chill at 400m a.s.l. but I was too absorbed to be bothered by the cold breeze until the light burst had faded

The theatrical spot light and the sinuous curve of the beck's valley seemed worthy of a dash down to this spot. It seemed to conatin the essence of what appealed to me about those moors
