From Helsby Hill

by davidstorm

Shot with the K-5 and DA L 55-300, from the top of Helsby Hill in Cheshire. The dark bird shape near the top right is a female Peregrine Falcon - there is a pair nesting on the rock face of the hill.

BTW, this is a full colour image, not a black and white.

Very dramatic and moody shot, nicely done.

Unusual presentation, but it works.
Best Regards, Larry.

All the gear & no idea.

Wow, you captured a good day! Amazing layers of cloud formations. And overall beautiful tones
How on earth did you spot that as a Peregrine Falcon?
We don't see many of them in Devon - mostly Buzzards.
