Afterglow at Blakemore Hill

Photo Information
Afterglow light in the skies above a ripe barley field on the top of Blakemore Hill on the western side of Totnes. It is a place I enjoy visiting for it's vast sense of space, and the stage set it makes for the theatre of clouds and light.

Can't beat a good wheat-field shot.
Best wishes,

Many thanks Andrew 😊 It's great that it has a footpath through the field and from certain spots one can see the Dartmoor hills to the west. The textures and form of wheat and barley crops, especially when ripe really appeal to me 😊

Many thanks for your enthusiasm Maria 😊 It would be lovely to see it as a print with those tones and textures 😊

As I seem to say regularly, so simple, so nice!

Many thanks Paul It was one of my conscious efforts of using subtractive methods - to try and distill the essence of what I want to express about a place and time.
