The Heron

by pauljay

Some weeks ago this heron took up residence, for about a week, in a tree just beyond our garden. Despite being somewhat sensitive to human movement I managed to get this late afternoon shot of it. Since then the bird has made frequent return appearances at the same spot.

The graceful form of the heron is so well juxtaposed with the abstract tree limbs😊
