Steam in the rain - 1

I've been caught in some torrential rain photographing steam trains over the last couple of weeks. Here's the Royal Scot Class loco Scots Guardsman waiting to leave York with the return Roses Express to Lancashire as the heavens opened.

Very atmospheric and well suited to mono.

Three different exhausts from the cylinder cocks, chimney & safety valves!

Well composed, full of atmosphere, excellent Black & White - well taken.
Not everything in life is Black & White, If only it were!
