A different take on Steam Trains - this is the steam locomotive Hercules shot at Dartmouth, with the fireman spraying the coal in the tender with water just prior to steaming away. Shot with the Sigma 105mm Macro lens and treated to pseudo HDR processing in Photomatix 4.1

Great picture, David. Does anyone know why the coal is being sprayed ? - never seen this before on any of my visits to our wonderful heritage railways !
