Prompted by David Trout's excellent capture here is another shot of a Beyer Garrett of the Welsh Highland Railway.
This was taken at Rhydd, the passing place between Porthmadog and Caernarfon.
Looks like it was a different 'Gaffer' on the day we took the ride ?

I like that one Peter. Rhyd Ddu is a location I've also visited. That's the same engine which appeared in my picture.
