Dandelion

Photo Information
I got sidetracked in the garden today by this dandelion seed head. It was far too windy to photographic it outside so I brought it in and spent the afternoon experimenting.

This is one of the earlier attempts. (Why do the quick first attempts come out better than the later ones where more time and effort is put in?)

A three image focus stack all using:
Pentax K-3 with the Samsung equivalent of the DFA100 macro.
1/15sec, f8, ISO200 & +0.7 exposure compensation.

Shot raw, processed in LR5 then reduced in size in PSE10 so that the focus stack could be processed by CombineZP. The result was then resized again, for the web, using PSE10.
