Kris, I'm usually so bored by sunsets (I live on the west coast) but this is in a different league. Forgive my ignorance but where is Hilton Head?
Best wishes,

Andrew

An island on the coast of South Carolina.

Best wishes, Kris.

Lots of film bodies, a couple of digital ones, too many lenses (mainly older glass) and a Horseman LE 5x4.

Ah, that partly explains it. Do you know, Kris, I'm sure there is a different quality of light in the New World. Just look at Ken Rockwell's stuff: you could almost drown in the colours! My pictures are all grey and misty and look as if they've crawled out of a 1940s B-movie! England cries-out to be shot in monochrome.

That's my excuse anyway! (And I'm sticking to it!)

Sharpened and resized in Lightroom. No other adjustments although the original was deliberately under-exposed to ensure good colour saturation.
