They both work really well to my eye... This version looks slightly less saturated to me, which combined with the shape of the front flower and the side light suggests that the front flower is dying and the two behind are taking its place... Whereas the other version looks much happier and healthier... Depends what story you're looking to tell!... Both great though...

I missed the earlier version so I've just popped back to have a look. On balance I prefer No. 1 because of its richer saturation. Both pictures are excellent though.
