Ascorbic Acid Crystals In Cross-Polarised Light

A re-work of one of a set of images taken through a microscope, using a Pentax S5i.

The asc. acid crystals start to form & grow on evaporation of the water solution & cross-polarised light gives the black b/g & these fantastic colours!
