Haytor, Dartmoor

by bwlchmawr

A rare splash of sunlight on a cloudy morning. I had to wait ages for this moment... Haytor is the lump of granite on the horizon.

A different view of Haytor, with a pleasing composition and good exposure. I like the triangle of the 2 sizes of tree and the tor.

Pleasing composition Andrew and good use of the cloud detail.

As indicated by Graham, the triangle works well. I also like the effect of the wind on the trees! Another good work that bares your recognizable signature.

Thanks everyone. I guess it was a shot worth waiting for!
Best wishes,

A refreshingly different view of Haytor. The use of three key objects works so well. Great capture
