WOW WOW WOW! What a shot great DOF and perfect focus within, the action however is caught at a super angle. A real stand out!

Great image, sharp where it needs to be,well taken.
Use Pentax K5,K5IIs, LENS Pentax 16-45, Sigma 70-200 2.8, Pentax 300DA F4, Sigma 105 2.8 macro. Flash Pentax AF-540FGZ, PENTAX battery grip.

Amazing shot and even at that shutter speed the wings are still a blur, which just adds to the effect.
I saw one yesterday in Lincolnshire so they are still about despite the dropping temps.

It was taken in my garden......sometimes you don't have to go far to get decent shots.....which is in the department of La Vienne, France. I live roughly half-way between Limoges and Poitiers, to give you a bit more of a clue.
Those wings do go mighty fast!!
