I have been learning how to add a copyright signature in GIMP on Linux, what a palaver, so tried Windows and it succeeded in a fraction of the time (still prefer Linux).
No Post processing. Any helpful criticism welcome, especially on the copyright malarkey.
My first upload to the gallery BTW.

Never seen one with a haircut like that before...looks like its had the avian equivalent of a No.2

Nice and sharp when viewed large.

Congratulations on your first upload.

Welcome to the Gallery! Kestrels seem to be less skittish than other birds of prey; try to get within 100m of a buzzard in this area and you can count yourself lucky! It also helps that kestrels can hover until their wings drop off! Of course I never have a long lens with me when I come across one. Nice shot by the way!

Cracking shot, despite a long lens the moment Kestrels see me lift the camera up they are off before I can click the camera.
On the subject of copyright I believe most Pentax DSLR allow you to embed copyright into the EXIF of photos. It wont show in the image itself though. See page 113 of the Pentax KP manual link

Welcome to the Gallery and thanks for bringing your bird along. I noticed the shadow of his perch on his chest, which brings the subtle and warm quality of light home.
