Village Square, Priddy, Somt.

Priddy lies 100ft up on the Mendip Hills. In 1348 the Black Death meant that the traditional sheep fair could not longer be held each August in Wells. Ever since the fair has been held on Priddy's village green.

Those are stacked hurdle fences aren't they? What's the story there? It would make a good modern installation sculpture but I expect it is more functional than that. It certainly makes an interesting composition, Andrew.
