Great tit

Same one which was on top of the nest. It was getting ready to fly and I was so eager to capture it in flight, had the perfect position and was at the right angle but was let down by the SS. Just couldn't bump it higher at all. It was getting dark and bumping up the ISO would have ruined it further.
If anyone has tips to get around this please let me know, it will be greatly appreciated.

PS: By the way, how do you edit the images for upload in the gallery? Do you resize them or leave them as they are? Do you have a limit
