I like it, the textures in the foreground are balanced by the blue sky

Yes, me too... There's a lovely emptiness to it that is only partly filled by the two trees...

This work for me. I like the spacial feel. Sky flows in a subtle way. And the trees link both upper and lower very well due to their softness in the branches and hardness in the trunks to the more solid earth and wall.
