Thanks for your comments. I am not an HDR fan when the method becomes the thing that defines the photo, but this photo matches my recollection of what it looked like at the time. In fairness it was ages ago when I took it and maybe I have been staring at the monitor too long since!

I have got a non-HDR version as well which I might have another look at as well. It was two photos from the same set combined using a gradient mask instead of HDR, it needed something to cope with the huge range of bright and dark, but may have looked more natural.
