Glass Door Abstract

by Peter Elgar

A test of my Asahi Pentax Spotmatic F from the late 1960's I was given using my own 50mm f4 SMC Macro-Talumar lens and 2005 outdated Kodak Ultra 400 film rated 250 ASA and processed myself in C41. The colours are out of focus Geraniums

What a great and memorable (to me) set-up, Peter!

And well spotted!

I have all four Spotmatic bodies on a shelf, and still use the f4 Marco as my preferred 50mm all-round lens due to its versatility and sharpness. It converts well to DSLR using an M to PK adapter ring.

Long live ....

As I've said elsewhere Peter I like this one a lot, on viewing it here, if it was mine, I'd be tempted to enter it in the "bingo lingo weekly comp". There is a number that stands out

Thanks to all my 'viewers' -- well I was having early dinner and the LIGHT just came through the front door -- I know it doesn't last very long so I rushed upstairs to my darkroom and got the camera and lens just in time to get a couple of frames then back to dinner !
