The famous Knorrhütte in the German alps 970 m below the Zugspitz summit. Took this photo on our this year Zugspitz climbing event.
The roof construction 2melting" with the rocky slope should protect the building against avalanches.
You have to visit this hut one day - as you will get the best Gulasch of the whole Alps there

Axel are you capable of taking a boring, pants photograph? If you are, I haven't seen it.

Several years ago, we had a wonderful walking holiday staying in a village at the foot of the Zugspitz.
