As to dissolved in cold water - My water is a already chosen "secret" cove near Hana in Maui Hawaii. A calm place where every year the whales return from Alaska to calve and teach their offspring how to leap and roll. WaterTemperature high 70's F.- Air temp avg. mid 80's F it's called Hanaluilui bay. Wife and I expect to be visited by thousands of local folks and some tourist mammals forever, the place is unforgettable to both and doesn't require any upkeep -IMO, beats damp ground with worms into which a body is interred and as the image indicates- often eventually forgotten.

Thanks for the generous comments folks. It's certainly an amazing place and tells us a lot about the Victorians and the way they thought about life and death.
As regards earthly remains, for photographers, family researchers and historians these old cemeteries are invaluable and Tony's beautiful cove in Hawaii sounds idyllic, but it is surely the fate of our eternal souls which should concern us most.
As the man said: "...in sure and certain hope of the Resurrection to eternal life."

Victorian churchyards were surely placed there for the benefit of future generations of talented photographers like Andrew. Not much call for snappers lurking around crematoria or snorkelling beneath the waves in search of nostalgic images.

My daughter asked if We'd have at least a plaque - I said the pacific ocean would be our plaque, We figure powerful God that God is, God will know exactly where our souls might be, come judgment day. -Tony
