A lemon on the tree.

by davidwozhere

Our lemon tree has quite a few fruits this year. This one was very nicely lit by low sunshine so I put a 1940s Schneider Kreutznach 105mm Radionar on the K5. Raw original processed in Faststone Image Viewer.

Nice work. Sometimes I edite my pics in FSIV: reliable and free of charge!

I like this...my kind of shot.

I use Fastone for viewing my images after a shoot...haven't tried any editing with it...might give it a go.

regards

The reason I use Faststone is because I can understand it. The mainstream fancy image editing programs, to me, are incomprehensible gibberish. I don't even know what things do, never mind knowing how to use them. Photoshop, for example, is an utterly opaque black art. The major drawback of Faststone is that it is global - you can't isolate one (or more) elements and you can't cut and paste selections. Apart from that, I love it.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
