Jolly-Joker Clouds
by GIULIO57
Pentax LX on tripod. Lens: Tamron 70-210 SP for Kmount-Polarizing filter. (F16-Shutter Speed: 1/60. Mirror blocked up and use of a flexible cable for shutter release to avoid vibrations). Manual exposure and bracketing at fixed F number. I took 3 pics then I selected this one. Original is a slide scanned using an Epson Perfection 3200 plane-scanner. Film: Kodak Elite 100 ISO. Date: June 23rd,1996(Last Century!!). Place: Castelluccio da Norcia. Piano Grande e Piano Piccolo. Every year, on June-July, this plateau is an ocean of different colours: red for poppies, yellow for lentils, green for wheat and many others due to full-bloom. I was shooting when this giant cloud appeared on the left moving on the right. Its depicted shadow on the meadow splitted in two different parts this large area. In my humble opinion this was remarkable, interesting and photogenic. I shooted.(I prefer the original slide rather than scanned one).
