Frozen In Time

by VividArt

I worked quite hard on this image, it has 31 layers and some HDR. I uploaded an image a while ago called Rendition, it was a derivative work based on this image. This image has elements I shot in Northern England, Glasgow, random places in Northern Scotland, Ontario, Quebec and various places around British Columbia. The EXIF data is complete nonsense...
This is a mini tribute to Maurits Cornelis Escher. His work has been very inspirational to me.

Thank you everyone!
I appreciate the comments
I did work hard on this but it took a life of it's own while creating it. I spent many days and loved every minute of it.
I experiment with all sorts of photography techniques and software tweeking. I am certainly no expert but I do strive to learn or try something new everyday. I think I would need two life times to attempt all the things I want to try.
It pleases me that others liked it as well.
I want to travel to Europe in the near future to capture elements that I know will fuel my imagination and creativity. I look at the photos on this site and I drool over some of the magical places I see being photographed everyday. I go everywhere with my gear, take pictures everyday but rarely get truly inspired...
My heart is with the history of Europe, my body is stuck in a huge overpopulated city filled with culture and architecture that is lost on me.
I crave the old.
I was dreaming of England when I made this.

Best Regards to all,

JMD
