Frog's Eye

During the heatwave in June, I spotted this frog hopping around the lawn. I took a few shots, including this one, with my K10D and Pentax 18-55 WR lens. I went indoors to get my macro lens and by the time I returned, the frog had disappeared. It oblgingly froze when I closed in with the camera. Why was it out in a heatwave in the first place? Aperture priority, 60th, f16, iso 100.
