This one I like better Ian. If anything it has more atmosphere and looks more real to me.

I agree. The simple tones make the picture much better than the tinkering did -- And I never noticed the shadowy figure in the right foreground at all in the earlier version.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

I like both! Glad to see this version as well Ian. The effect isn't far off a bit of light condensation on the lens
