The Cupola

Photo Information
In St. Blasien (a village in the Black Forest with a population of 3800) is an amazing dome. This church has a cupola of 36 diameter - 2 m more then the St. Pauls Cathedral in London (but London's population is 2000 times bigger ).
Took the photo by laying the camera flat on the ground just below the cuploa and releasing it with a remote control. I used 18 mm (I have to wait until I can afford the Pentax 10-17 mm to get the complete construction on one pic

Wonderful shot even if cupola is not complete...IMHO this gives a special "sense" to the pic....Is 10-17 a fish eye or normal wide-angle?I'm looking for a Pentax wide angle wider than 12-24 that I'm using..(a perfect lens IMHO).

Very good shot without distortion, Axel. Like it a lot.
But, it should be "Cupola" instead of "Cuploa".

Nothing like assuming the prone position in the middle of the house of god! Done it many times but sadly not always for shots as great as this one. Love It!
