Very nice, the arrangement of the tree trunks leads the eye into the image. A shot like this is quite difficult to pull off successfully, but I think you have done it here.

This is what I SEE when I look into a wood. If I try to photograph it it always looks flat and boring.
So Yes, it is a hard shot. Congratulations for achieving it.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Great shot! There is something special about this image, and like David also highligths above, difficult to pull off successfully.

This is great... As others have said above, really tricky to make a shot like his work... The sidelighting, and the isolation of the lit foreground vs unlit background help, but the composition is very fine too... Lovely...
