Hi trixie this is wildly out of focus, methinks you need a DSLR so you can control your f stops and get a longer DOF.
Keep trying though as you have a talent for this.

I like the Idea.
I agree with Steve's comments.
I'm not sure what "look" you tried to achieve trixie, as mentioned the focus could be better also on this screen there appears to be a huge amount of "noise". I am not sure how much control you have on the optio, if any at all. Just as a thought try setting the shot up under different lighting types perhaps a little brighter.
This would make the aperture smaller and also alter the ISO..
You definately have an eye for still life so keep clicking

Pete
Pentax K7 and K5 and several black tubey things with magnifying glass in that twist around and move in and out - to be honest I am not sure exactly what I have. Will list the proper names one day..

Hi Pete, thanks again, I have tried today with this camera i cant get the IS0 any smaller than I have done in this shot, also if I shoot in manual I get lots of noise, but going to try in a better light and keepon with it, in the past i have used a DSLR fugi and a praktica film SLR camera with great results, so I'm not giving up with this lovely camera thank for taking the time to look at the photos and for passing on tips always appreciated. Cheers Trixie
Pete
