I had hoped that this would show the vertical banding problem that I've had with the K20D (about half of all the photos I took on one day last week had it), but this gallery doesn't seem to display at full size, which would show it (the pentaxforums one does.... - I'll have to link to that instead).... See "K20D vertical banding" thread, page 6.

Could you explain this vertical banding that you have referred to, I am unsure as to what you mean?

Have a look at link or link

It is an intermittent problem that affects some K20D users - mine seems to be more affected than most as I've only taken 278 shots in the short time I've used it and about a third of them had vertical banding (I took 112 shots last Thursday and just over half were affected - the one above was one of them, but it is only really noticeable at certain resolutions (in my case certainly at 100%, 35% [which is fit to window in my usual viewing software] and thumbnail view in Finder) - it seems that other resolutions, such as the ones available here, it isn't evident.

It can, apparently, be overcome by a simple command in SilkyPix (if you have SilkyPix, which I don't), or by Pentax putting in a board that works - which I'm hoping they will over the next week or so.
