Fly Agaric

Photo Information
The classic fairy tale mushroom. If you want to see these, visit any woodland but Arley Hall is worth a special mention because they are so readily accessible. They have a field in front of the chapel that is covered in various types of fungus. Shot with the K-1 and the SMC Pentax-D FA 50mm f/2.8 Macro lens.

Very nicely done - love the exposure that you've chosen.

I've been in plenty of woodlands but have never seen one of these, John. They're a bit scarce hereabouts. Lovely shot, though.

Mike

I could just see a fairy on top, a wonderful shot.
Kind regards Maria

Perfect portrait - but they don't grow in any woods near me I fear.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass
