not that easy to tune the expo in such light conditions, .. you've managed to handle it pretty well Andy, .. fine work here; .. LIKE it

Lovely light & shade, it is the shapes and tones that make this image.

Have you considered cropping at the top Andy? I think if you cropped approx 1/3 off the top it would change the shot dramatically and emphasise the tones, textures and shapes even more? Just my thoughts, there's nothing wrong with it as is, but I see something else in it.

I see what you mean David. My concern at the time was to get the copse at the top right in the frame without including any skyline (only just off the top of the image). But your suggestion would make for another image as well - thank you!
