Nice catch with great lines throughout the image. Surprised you didn't convert this one, I imagine it would really bring out the lighting?

The answer to your question is partly given by Andrew,Sean. It was such a pleasing sight with the 'complimentary hues' and the shades and lines you mentioned that I wanted to record it as it was. I also tried a conversion but it produced a high key image and needed some careful PP work to achieve a satisfying result.
