Taken from the window of my Hotel Room in the Crowne Plaza, Dubai Festival City, where I am spending the week on business. This area of Dubai is one of the least developed, at least it is in the direction this shot is taken in. The tower in the centre is the Al-Futtaim Head Office Building, to the extreme right is the Intercontinental Hotel. Most of the land in this district is owned by the Al-Futtaim Group of Companies.

If the prices of everything else are anything to go by, I won't be buying any lenses out here! Also, when I first went out, exchange rate was 7.3 dirhams to the pound sterling, it's now only about 5 to the pound. Went out today, had a cheeseburger and a drink of Belgian Beer in the Belgian Bar (Crowne Plaza Hotel) and it came to £25.
