Night Ferry

Photo Information
In my dreams perhaps!
East Lancashire Railway visiting West Country Light Pacific 34092 "Wells" stands at Ramsbottom with the "Murder Mystery Night" special, is that Clouseau or Poirot on the platform? or both?!
I just looked out of our front window on Saturday evening and I saw a pall of smoke over Ramsbottom. This could only mean one thing, "Wells" was on the special! I grabbed my cameras and car keys and I was out of the house before you could say "Jack Robinson"!

Thanks Giulio, it was a case of "suck it and see". In other words try it and see what comes out, I haven't tried hand held shots in such low light before but I had no option at this location and in the time available.

You caught a superb image - not quite the volcanic effect it is capable of but heading that way
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

Thanks David, it was just "brewing up" here. We need lower temperatures for advanced pyrotechnics!
