Species Unknown

by davidstorm

Another one for Nuri - this is the DA*300 with the Pentax 1.4 HD TC. Compare this to the previous image with a 2xTC and this one is sharper, more colourful and more contrasty.

Could anyone help identify this species of Damselfly? This is a female, it isn't the normal 'Common Blue' that frequents our garden, I wonder if it might be a 'White Legged Damselfly'?

K-3, DA*300, 1.4 HD TC

Edit: I think it is actually a 'Common Blue', I've just had a look on the web.

Hi Malc, the females are quite often this colour, sometimes a paler shade of pink too.
