Looks great as a thumbnail, but I found it too soft large (makes my eyes tear-up).

Beautiful colours and compo.

I think this lens will take some getting used to.

Strange thing is, it seems to have come up a bit softer on the website than when I look at it on my computer. It also looks different when you bring it up large.

I'll just have to practice some more.

I love it and the soft effect.

Perhaps it's an acquired taste but it just looks out of focus to me. Shame as it's a lovely autumn scene. I'm not obsessive about sharpness but I like at least part of the picture to be clear.
Best wishes,

Andrew

Its a superb scene, with lovely colours and lighting. Like the other commentators, I'm a bit unsure about soft focus. But that's just me: I think of myself as a technician photographer and not an art photographer. I tend to look at my images at 100% in PSE and get upset if the focus is off by more than a couple of pixels

Love the comp and colours - hate the fact that to me it just looks badly out of focus - sorry.

No matter how many lenses I have owned - I have always needed just one more

Thanks for all the comments, all helpful.

I have just got this lens and I read that it needs practice to handle. I have not had much practice yet!
