Bit of a back story here. We went up this tower for dinner and afterwards I had a bit of time left on the tower pass before it shut, so grabbed the camera and went back up again on my own.
Took some baby/hand wipes and a dry cloth, a joby gorilla pod type bendy tripod and a took my jumper off up there. Found the place I liked and cleaned the glass with the wipe (took off a days worth of hand prints) down load near the bottom of the window. Setup the bendy gorilla pod and set a countdown timer, then wrapped the lens/covered the camera with the jumper to block out as much light reflection as possible.
Very happy with the Pentax K-3 and 16-85mm lens, and the end result you see here.
