As photo-journalism this is superb- the references (to me at least) being that a/ while most Spanish people are apparently atheist they are still prepared to participate in & enjoy "religious" parades, while b/ taking such entirely justified pride in their attire generally and their footware particularly

This brings back memories of the Whit walks we used to have in Manchester every year, it was a massive occasion but sadly they have phased out and just a few small ones remain around the country, thank you for sharing Nezih.
