Speeding through Durham

Express steam loco Union of South Africa speeding non-stop through Durham station recently on a special charter train, just as it and sister engines of the A4 class did back in the heyday of steam power.

A lovely clear and detailed photo of the A4 Pacific. Good positioning on the curve, with the trailing smoke and steam. The sprinkling of snow makes a nice touch.
