My Backyard

Photo Information
Coming home from work one night, I suddenly became aware of my surroundings, rather than walk with tunnel vision from my car to my front door, like every night. It was a beautifully still night, with crisp moonlight striking clean shadows on the ground. I just happened to have my camera in my hand and mounted with my Sigma 10-20; How could I resist?

I set my camera down on the lush lawn of unmowed grass and tried a few shots.

I was only mildly impressed with the quality of the end result, yet people seem to be intrigued by it. So I'll post it here, as an act of scientific research.

How did you, if it is you, manage to keep still for 20 secs? Amazing shot!

Meditation techniques. Breathe extra before taking the shot so that you can breathe/move less during the exposure. That and paying careful attention to where your body might be leaning to.

Interesting, but if you do this again,it might be an idea to have your hands in the frame?
Best Regards, Larry.

I like it, You took another nice and interesting shot. The usage of wide-angle lens and long exposure effected a good picture. Every details are well recognizable in it and its colours are natural.
