Downhill Boulevard

Best Regards, Larry.
All the gear & no idea.

With regards to the picture. I do not know what it was like before the crop so cannot really comment but if it were possible to make the road exit the picture bottom right and remove the land at the bottom of the picture which contributes nothing I feel it would look the better for it. It has many subtle colours in it which if brought out gives the picture more depth
and looks less flat.
Regards
Bob

Some cameras, some lenses, some bits 'n' bobs

You can use this shot as a Christmas postcard by mirroring the picture. The road looks like a half of a schematic Christmas Tree. :

Always how I think of the Tuscany countryside. You should post more to cheer us up in the damp UK!

Thank YOU Larry and Bob for sharp comments. You’re both right about foreground. I’ve used it to “cover” part of country-road in foreground that comes in front of me, right in the center. I wanted to give the impression of looking at this “snake” with “my arms resting on the bottom of a window…like for a previous capture in PUG named La Cascata”. I’ll try to take this photo again following YOUR instructions. “Image is flat and colours could help to”…..and so on. Right! It was cloudy that day so I’ve been obliged to shoot using what I had on my hands at that moment. However I would like to underline that I prefer this “soft box weather without shadows”. It helps not to haveblack-dark shadows of trees on the road(sunrise on the left-sunset on the right). Road should appear like a ladder. I do have several Sunny captures (morning and late afternoon) but problem above is a real “needle”for my eyes. I must say I was lucky that day to test a different quality of light….but Bob is right. Image is flat!

I new instantly this was a 'Giulio'! I love it, but i do find the edge of the hill in the foreground a bit of a distraction; however, as it is such an outstanding view,,,,i forgive you...
