Lovey Dovey

Photo Information
A pair of doves perched upon my deck handrail. Caught a glimpse of them through my kitchen window as I was making my morning cup of coffee. Ran quickly to get the camera and grabbed a few 'un-prepared' settings shots before they flew away. Though I would have loved the time to have tweaked the camera settings...I do however, like the mood created.

I could not agree more. You managed to capture the ambiance. To me, that's all that really counts. Love it.

Dunno about ambiance -- what temperatures have you got there? These two look mighty cold

I have the collared Doves, they eat all the little birds seeds but i still love them because they always seem so timid and gentle
Kind regards Maria

Thanks for commenting, Maria! It's always nice seeing doves, especially in pairs.

David, the temp at the time of this pic was around 55 degrees. It had been rainy and overcast the day before this pic, but otherwise not too cold at all. It is surprising to see them all fluffed up like that with such moderate temps. Perhaps they were wet and airing out a bit. I did notice one of them smooth his feathers down before they both flew away.
Cheers...Donna 😊
